I am a qualified, accredited counsellor/psychotherapist with 12 years' experience within both the voluntary and statutory sectors. I am currently working as an independent counsellor and supervisor, and as an affiliated counsellor for EAP (Employee Assisted Programme) providers. I am also a therapist working with Bucks Family Network, an organisation supporting children and families within Buckinghamshire

I have a range of experience which has included counselling support to Feltham Women's Centre and Youth Enquiry Service in Wycombe. I worked as a counsellor with Buckinghamshire Mind for 9 years, primarily in their adult counselling service, and latterly as a counsellor with their children and young people's service, working with referrals from CAMHS (Children and Adolescent Mental Health Service).

I have experience of facilitating anger-management and self-esteem workshops and have training in mediation and couples counselling.

I work as an integrative counsellor; my initial training was in the Person-Centred Approach, in which I hold an Advanced Diploma, but I also hold a post-graduate qualification in Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) and an Advanced Certificate in Working Creatively with Children and Families.

I am an Accredited Member of BACP (British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy) www.bacp.com

I am on the BACP Register of Councellors and Psychotherapists BACP Register.

I am bound by BACP's Ethical Framework for Good Practice in Counselling and Psychotherapy and am subject to the professional conduct procedure therein.

My counselling practice meets the criteria for continuing accreditation with BACP and I am committed to on-going professional development
